WEE FRIENDS PRESCHOOL

Wee Friends Preschool was started in the spring of 1975 with a three month trial. The vision of Pastor Earl K. Ziegler, it was promoted by Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren member Marlene Eckman, who became the school's first lead teacher. The school has grown to a total possible enrollment of 144 children, most of whom come from the community outside the congregation. The school currently includes five classes for 4 to 5 year olds, four classes of 3 and 4 year olds and three classes for 2 to 3 year olds. Each year the church offers some partial financial scholarships to help families with special needs.

OUR CLASSES

We have twelve classes for ages 2-5. All of our morning classes meet from 9:00-11:30am.

 

Our toddler classes are for students ages 2-3. (Age 2 before September 30th)

  • Class 2B meets on Wednesdays & Fridays 

  • Class 2C meets on Tuesdays 

  • Class 2D meets on Thursdays

Our nursery school classes are for students ages 3-4.

  • Class 3A meets on Monday/Wednesdays, & Fridays

  • Class 3B meets on Wednesdays & Fridays

  • Class 3C meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • Class 3D meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays

Our pre-kindergarten classes are for students ages 4-5.

  • Class 4A meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays

  • Class 4B meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 

  • Class 4C meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • Class 4D meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • Class 4E meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 1-3:30pm
