Church Interior

In addition to an amazing group of pastors and staff that help to serve the needs of our community and congregation, we also have an outstanding group of staff who work in our Children's Outreach Ministries, our preschool, child care, and Christian Love Around School Program.

Pastoral Staff

Bob Kettering
Interim Senior Pastor
ext 151

Bob and his wife, Lib, have been married 47 years and live on a 2 ½ acre farmette north on Manheim where Lib enjoys riding her Haflinger horse, Lietzl, and driving a cart with her mini-horse, Winnie. Lib is a retired middle school teacher. They have three grown children who live in Manheim, Hershey and Point of Rocks, Maryland and four grandchildren. Bob has been a pastor in three churches and served six churches as an interim pastor. He was also a district executive and on the national staff. He is President of the Mount Gretna Camp Meeting. Bob enjoys biking (he biked the entire East Coast from northern Maine to Key West) and still enjoys biking rails-to-trails. He is a musician: organ, piano and voice; enjoys hiking, model railroading and reading James Michener novels.

Rita lives on a farm surrounded by her family.  They currently have 7 horses, 3 dogs, about a dozen chickens and a multiple number of cats.   She enjoys visiting, walking with friends, music and spending time at her beach house.  A good morning is walking on the beach and watching the waves roll in.  A good evening would be having dinner with friends.

Rita Carter
Pastor of Visitation
Mary Etta Reinhart
Interim Part-Time
Associate Pastor
ext 162

Mary Etta is a retired banker who enjoys reading and doing puzzles at home when she is not spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.   She and her husband Ed are coffee “snobs” who enjoy sitting down with others over a good cup of coffee.  A good day for Mary Etta would include plenty of time to catch up on reading, caring for the yard and small vegetable garden, and challenging her husband in Words with Friends.

Additional Staff

LeAnn Todd
Administrative Assistant
ext 150

LeAnn is a busy mother of 3 amazing boys ranging in ages from elementary to high school. She loves to cook, bake and be with her kids. LeAnn volunteers with local soccer organizations and also is a volunteer culinary instructor at Solid Rock Youth ministry. In her limited free time, she loves to spend it, using her passion and God given gift to feed those in need. LeAnn loves to craft, crochet and laugh with her friends and family.

Aliza is a crazy and busy (in that order) mother of four children.  When she can find the time she loves curling up with a good book.  Her ideal day would be spent relaxing at the beach or going hiking, laughing and spending time with her kids.

Aliza Kraynak
C.O.M. Administrator

Ed Heidinger II
Technology Coordinator

Growing up within the Church here at MGCB, Ed’s curiosity peaked after a peek in the sound booth one Sunday. This turned into a passion leading him to accept the call of Sound Coordinator in 2018. Ed had a vision and dream of starting a live stream here at MGCB, little did he know 2020 had plans of its own. You can always find Ed with a cup of coffee in hand, or trying to find where he left it, and ready for a good conversation. He also actively participates in our adult handbell choir throughout the year. In his free time, Ed likes to make candles, paint with diamonds, or watch a feel-good movie.

Sharon is a busy mother of three children who are in various stages of high school and college.  She loves to do many things with her limited spare time including spending time with her children, outdoor activities, like gardening and walking and being at the beach.  She loves to read but only when there are no other people to enjoy because she does love being with others.  She takes great care of other people and our church.  If there are people to serve either directly or indirectly, Sharon is probably somewhere around helping them!

Sharon Davis
Lori Holzhauer
Music Coordinator

Lori loves many different types of music. She spends her time babysitting her grandchildren and helping out in the office for the family business.  Lori’s ideal day would be spent with her family away from the shop – cooking and eating together, relaxing at the beach or by a pool, going for a walk together to explore nature and playing a game or two of Scrabble.
